Our studio sought to highlight both the musicians and the venue itself, celebrating its legacy and the cultural texture it brought to Los Angeles’ music scene.

A collaboration with Noise Etc, a Los Angeles–based music promoter, and a lineup of headlining and emerging artists.
The first show, hosted at Genghis Cohen, was brought to the local music community through Noise Etc’s ongoing series.
Genghis Cohen, a Chinese-American restaurant and live music venue founded in 1983 by music producer Allan Rinde, was an iconic fixture on Fairfax. Recently closed and relocated, it held a distinct character defined by its intimate atmosphere and uniquely detailed interiors.
